Lawrence William Peckham (born 4 December 1944 in Melbourne, Victoria) is a retired high jump

He also competed in four Commonwealth Games
during his career. A ten-time national champion
in the men's high jump, he won two Commonwealth Games gold medals in 1966 and 1970. In 1977, Peckham married fellow Olympian, Judy Canty, the 1978 Commonwealth Games champion at 800 metres.
After retirement, he become a physical education coach at The Peninsula School and then Geelong Grammar School in Melbourne Victoria, and specialized specifically in high jumping.
