The signature dual-language radio broadcasts originated in 1996 with an English-Arabic program for the Middle East
and North Africa
. This format features Dr. Youssef's English teaching and a phrase-by-phrase translation into the listener's native language. The broadcast appeals both to those interested in learning about Christianity
and to those who wish to gain a mastery of the English language.
The dual-language format is now produced in over 20 different languages around the world, including Arabic, Mandarin, Indonesian, Turkish, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, French, Hindi, Bengali, Korean, Spanish, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Amharic, Tamil, Albanian, Thai, Portuguese, English, and ESL. This Atlanta-based organization partners internationally with in-country follow-up teams to encourage new believers in their faith, helping God's Kingdom to grow around the world.
In March, 2009 Leading The Way launched THE KINGDOM SAT, a 24/7 satellite television channel reaching 120 million homes in 66 countries in the Arabic speaking world. THE KINGDOM SAT broadcasts Biblical teaching from a variety of teachers in English, Arabic, and French.
