 debut as Tracy Turnblad in the musical Hairspray won her a Laurence Olivier Award on the 9th March 2008 for Best Actress in a Musical. She had previously won the Theatregoer's Choice Awards for Best Actress in a musical for the same role.
And also the Critics Circle Award 2008 for Most Promising Newcomer.
Leanne was also nominated in 2009 for a Glamour Woman of the Year Award, for best actress.
