Willis Stetson was the Dean of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Pennsylvania
for 29 years. In September 2007, Stetson abruptly left the University of Pennsylvania a year ahead of his scheduled retirement date under mysterious circumstances, and without any of the normal fanfare and celebrations that would accompany the departure of a top University administrator. Following his resignation, Stetson started a consulting firm, Stetson College Advisory, to evaluate the admissions programs at universities.
