Lee's first commercial projects were in providing music playroutine coding for several Psygnosis games of the late 1980s and early 1990s, usually playing his brother Tim's musical compositions. Spending many years working for Morgan Computing Limited, a commercial software house, he once again joined forces with his brother Tim to create Jester Interactive Limited
in 1997. In his roles as Development Director and Lead Programmer, Lee was to play a pivotal role in managing the programming teams and developing all the core routines for Jester's MUSICtm
products on PlayStation
, PS2
and Gameboy COLOR.
While at Jester Interactive Lee worked on many incarnation of the MUSICtm series (as published by Codemasters
plc.) the last being perhaps his most technically accomplished, where he was responsible for developing VEKTEKtm technology which allowed the PS2 to generate 64 audio channels http://www.jesterinteractive.com/music3000/ (the PS2 generally has a maximum of 48 channels http://mixonline.com/mag/audio_sound_playstation/). Wright finally departed Jester in 2003 to form Checkmate Solutions Limited
with his brother Tim. At Checkmate he developed three titles under the eJay
software brand for Empire Interactive until Checkmate closed in 2005, whereupon Lee went to work full time at Bizarre Creations

Career
Lee's involvement in computing, computer demos and computer games began in the mid-1980s.
