. Legacy Health System was formed in 1989 by the merger of Good Samaritan Hospital and Medical Center and four other Portland-area hospitals (Emanuel, Holladay Park, Meridian Park, and Mount Hood), managed at that time as part of HealthLink. It was renamed in 2010 as Legacy Health.
The system's hospitals are: Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, Randall Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel, Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital & Medical Center
