Level Platforms is a provider of remote monitoring and management software products for IT service providers and VARs that provide IT support services for small and medium size businesses (SMBs) and branch offices.
Level Platforms was formed in 1999 as an international Managed Services Provider serving small and medium sized businesses (SMBs). The company subsequently shifted its strategy to leverage its experience to create the next generation of remote monitoring and management software to help IT service providers transform their business models from reactive break/fix to proactive managed services.
In May 2004, Level Platforms released a software product called Managed Workplace designed for use by IT
service providers. Since then Managed Workplace has been selected as the foundation for the delivery of managed services by more than 3000 service providers in 31 countries around the world. The benefits associated with managed services for IT service providers typically include new high margin recurring service revenues, lower service delivery costs and increased customer satisfaction resulting from increased IT
availability, security and performance for IT environments under management.
In November 2004 Level Platforms received Microsoft
’s IMPACT Award for networking infrastructure Solution of the Year. In July 2005 Level Platforms received the Winning Customer Initiative – Small Business Solution of the Year Award and in 2006 won the Microsoft Global Award for ISV Software Sales and Marketing Partner of the Year. In 2007 the Company received more than ten major industry awards and in 2008 was named by Deloitte and Touche as the third fastest growing technology company in Canada.
In 2007 Ingram Micro the largest technology distribution company in the world, selected Level Platforms hosted software as the foundation of it Software as a Service (SaaS) managed services offering to it solution providers in North America and in 2008 Managed Workplace was selected for Intel’s North American managed services offering.

to form an industry alliance known as MSP Partners to create a common source of comprehensive education on the subject of managed services for their respective channel partners and resellers. By 2008 MSP Partners had become a leading source of managed services education with over 3000 service provider members and many IT vendors joining to sponsor the growth of this industry-wide development initiative.
