Economy

One of the major sources of income for the islanders is by selling "fangi" and going for fishing. Proud to say that sector of fishing is very well developed. Youths are also involved in the activity of fishing. Yellowfin tuna (bodukahneli) is their main target. Moreover lately lots of young people started to involve in the tourism sector, they go for jobs in near resorts.
