Libaas is a 1988

film directed by Gulzar. The film is about married couples of urban India having extramarital relations and adultery. The subject of the film was considered to be bold in its time and was objectionable to be shown publicly and was banned by the Censor Board of India. The film won critical acclaim in international film festivals but never got released in India till date.
It was also the last film to date where Shabana Azmi and Naseeruddin Shah, the lead pair of Parallel Cinema
