Liberty Union High School is a public high school

. It is the only high school in the Liberty Union-Thurston Local Schools district. Their mascot is the Lions. The school colors are red and black.
The current high school was built in 1988 as an addition to a previous building which is currently used as the middle school (built in the 1950s). The original Liberty Union High School was built in 1917, merging Baltimore and Basil High Schools.

Music Department
- The Marching Band qualified for OMEA State Marching Band Finals in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010.
- The Concert Band received a Superior rating at State Concert Band Contest in 1961, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.
- During the 2008-2009 school year, Liberty Union was the only small band in Central and Southern Ohio to be rated Superior at the State level in both marching band and concert band.
