Gregory Hancock commenced as the school's principal in 2006 after the retirement in 2005 of the school's principal of 18 years, Peter Cowan. There are approximately 750 students currently enrolled at the college.

History

The school began in 1970 as Lilydale Technical School, and changed its name to Lilydale Heights Secondary College in 1989, finally becoming Lilydale Heights College in 2004.
