twice. Once at their appearance at the Carling Academy Glasgow on 3 March and once at their appearance in the King Tut's Tent at the Scottish music festival T in the Park
. At their Carling Academy gig, Limond performed an a cappella
version of their song 'Are You Gonna Be My Girl?', complete with air guitar. At T in the Park, he walked onto the stage acting as a sound engineer testing microphones then unexpectedly burst into song before saying "Ladies and Gentlemen, Jet!". Before the band's gig at the Carling Academy, Limond and Chris Cester

In June 2009 the BBC commissioned a six part Series of Limmy's Show
which began on BBC Scotland
in January 2010. The BBC recommissioned Limmy's Show
for a second series which was shown on BBC Scotland
from February 2011.
On July 7, 2010, he briefly appeared in an episode of The IT Crowd
entitled "The Final Countdown" as a window cleaner
with an unintelligible Glaswegian
accent.
On November 13, 2011, he won a British Academy Scotland Award for the second series of Limmy's Show.
