After many struggles, he finally marries Ren Yingying and they go into seclusion from the pugilistic world.

Linghu is a scruffy, happy-go-lucky ruffian-like swordsman and an alcohol addict. He enjoys creating new swordplay styles while sparring with his fellow apprentices. Once, he meets Feng Qingyang, an exiled swordsman from Mount Hua, and learns the powerful "Nine Swords of Dugu" from Feng.
