Link Campus University is an International University initially constituted as the Italian branch of the University of Malta. Founded in 1999, Link has been the first foreign university authorized to operate in Italy (D.M. 27.11.1999)
On the 4th July 2007, the Ministry of University and Research (MIUR), released the decree following the Lisbon Convention of 1997 and the laws and acts of the Italian Government which recognises also in Italy the degree qualifications of the Link Campus University.
The education model of the university is based on the Anglo-Saxon system which includes an entire study cycle of undergraduate and graduate programmes. Afterwards students can complement their studies with specific postgraduate courses.
Link Campus University is based in Rome
. It has 16 cabled classrooms and wireless connection; 2 multimedia classrooms equipped for videoconferences, a 700 seat auditorium, language laboratories and a library with more than 8000 books dealing with economics, sociology and politics.

From 2007/2008 a new education rule has allowed to activate an entire study cycle of five years for International Legal Affairs.
The Full time programmes last one academic year or 12 months with a full time study schedule, including 4 units each of 12 weeks. The first three units are dedicated to formal didactics and study; the fourth unit encompasses a professional working experience, an internship.
The part-time programmes are carried out on Saturdays and Sundays alternative weekends so that working students are able to attend lessons without overlap with working activities. There are 16 study hours scheduled for alternative weekends. The part-time programme lasts 18–20 months. Each unit lasts 14–16 weeks. The students have 3 or for modules in each unit.

Bachelor of Arts (three-year-degree)
The Bachelor of Arts, which corresponds to the Italian three-year degree, is the first cycle of the Anglo-Saxon university system. The Bachelors of Arts is divided in two semesters, 17 weeks each: 14 weeks of the lectures and tutorage, 1 week of review and 2 weeks of the examinations. During the three years students will have the opportunity to go through a stage in private or public companies in convention with Link Campus.The Bachelors of Arts activated at the Link Campus University:

Master of Arts
The Master of Arts is the second cycle of the Anglo-Saxon university system. Only students in possession of a three-year Italian academic degree or an equivalent degree achieved abroad can apply to the MA Degree.The Master of Arts activated at the Link Campus University:

Link Academy
Link Academy – European Academy of Dramatic Art – is the department of Performing Arts of the Link Campus University which trains excellent international actors ready to export their knowledge and art abroad in Italian and English. Link Academy offers acting directing and script-writing programmes. Student’s requirements for admission are basic English understanding and perfect Italian knowledge. Moreover all students of the Link Academy are required to take the LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) exams to certify their levels of knowledge and to be qualified once they start working on international level, especially as bilingual actors.Link TV
Link TV is the TV-laboratory of the Link Campus that acts like a university TV and as an instrument for the students to interact with the world of work, to comprehend the new communication forms and the new media. Through Link TV, the Link Campus students go through the functioning of TV station in its various aspects from inside.
