. The list is in chronological order of original broadcast.
Buffy began its first season on March 10, 1997 and continued to air for seven seasons until its finale on May 19, 2003, while Angel spun off into its first season on October 10, 1999 and ran for over five years until its finale on May 19, 2004. In that time, 254 episodes of the Buffyverse were aired.
Seasons one to five of both Buffy and Angel ran on the WB
, while in 2001, Buffy transferred to the United Paramount Network (UPN
