North Dakota is a state located in the Midwestern region of the United States of America, along the Canadian border. The state is bordered by Canada to the north, Minnesota to the east, South Dakota to the south and Montana to the west. North Dakota is the 19th-largest state by area in the U.S....

 Superintendents of Public Instruction. The office was on a party-affiliated ballot until 1913, since then it has been on the no party ballot, although most Superintendents have had some association with one party or another. The Superintendent served a two-year term office until 1964. Since then, they have been elected to four year terms.
