Golden Bell

Golden Bell Commercial is owned by the Ang family in 1948 in Zamboanga and is one of the leading corporations in Mindanao. It is known as "The Low Price Leader" and it is one the best places to shop at. Each branch in Mindanao has supermarket, appliance center, furniture center and a bookstore. Golden Bell was known for "Christmas in August" Sale every year since the late 1980s until 2006. The shopping event serves as a preparation for the Christmas shopping season.

However, in 2009, Golden Bell Grand Center Davao and Supercenter Zamboanga were closed.

Golden Bell Grand Center Zamboanga was changed into a mini shopping center, with their new food court (El Comedor) and shopping center (El Bazaar) at the 1st-2nd levels respectively. The company still sells school supplies, office supplies, appliances and furniture.
