This is a list of Black animated characters lists fictional characters found in comic books, television, motion pictures and other forms of media. Black is a term usually referring to a racial group of humans with dark skin color, used to categorise a number of diverse populations into one common group. This list includes African American animated characters and characters of sub-Saharan African descent or populations characterized by dark skin color (a definition that also includes certain populations in Oceania, Southeast Asia, southern South Asia, and the southern Middle East).
