Temporary Community Radio Stations
The Broadcasting Authority of Malta also issues licenses to temporary community radio stations. These stations are set-up to cover a particular event or occasion, mainly the village’s local feast. In most cases, these stations are owned by Band Clubs and are normally allowed to broadcast to their locality at 0.5 Watts.- Tal-Ġilju FM (95.4 FM) owned by Soċjetà Mużikali Madonna Tal-Ġilju. Opens early in December for the feast of the Immaculate Conception and in the 3rd week of June for the feast of Our Lady of the Lilies.
