The following is an incomplete list of sportspeople cleared of doping
offences by their sports governing body. The reasons for clearance range from technical errors in the doping test process (e.g. procedure not followed, laboratory errors) to outright pardoning from the national body for the sport. In other cases, athletes may be cleared if the banned substance was taken for purely medical health reasons.
