Liv Signe Hundere Navarsete (born 1958 in Sogndal
) is the Norwegian Minister of Local Government and Regional Development
and leader of the Center Party
. She took office in 2005 serving in the Stoltenberg's Second Cabinet.
She was also political advisor to the Minister of Health and Social Affairs (social affairs) from 1999 to 2000. Navarsete was appointed as leader of the Center Party
in September 2008, having up until then been the deputy leader.
