They are divided into two groups, the Zaria and Patharia, which are endogamous. Most Lodh now speak Gujarati

In Bundelkhand :- Lodh are found in the Bundelkhand reason mainly in the districts Panna, Banda, Chitrakut, Chhatarpur, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Satna. they speaks bundeli and basic occupation is aggriculture but now a days some family are migrated in different part of country for service, and in industrial society.
