The Lola LC88 was a Formula One
car which the Larrousse
team used to compete in the 1988 Formula One season
. It was powered by the Ford Cosworth DFZ engine.
Five LC88s were built in total. Two were later adapted to accommodate the Lamborghini V12
engine, these were designated LC88C and entered the first race of the 1989 Formula One season
in Brazil
, after which the replacement LC89
was completed.
The car was not successful and failed to score any points.
