. The species grows up to 8 metres high and has lancelolate to elliptic leaves which range from entire to deeply pinnasect and are between 6.5 to 15 cm long and 1 to 3.5 centimetres wide. The upper surfaces are green and glabrous, while the undersides are yellow-green and silky. The white to cream conflorescences appear between December and February in the species native range, followed by the development of 1.5 to 3 cm long follicles.
