London Tramlink is an arm of Transport for London

A scheme called City Tram has been proposed by the City of London

The current tram system has only been in operation since May 2000, although previously a service ran along the A23
up until 1951.
Croydon Tramlink has 38 stops along 17 miles of track. The system currently has 24 'Flexity Swift
' trams in operation.
The tram tracks around Croydon follow 3 main spurs to Beckenham Junction, Wimbledon
and Addington
, and includes a one-way loop going around Croydon Town Centre where the trains arrive roughly every 1 to 6 minutes.
