Lou Tilley is a freelance anchor, reporter, and producer in multi-media.
He recently partnered with Martin E Judge (founder and president of The Judge Group) to form "Lou Tilley Media Enterprises" based in Conshohoken, Pa. "LTM" develops original visual content on
all media platforms including traditional TV, internet, and digital display systems. In the year past Tilley, in coordination with Keystone Pictures of Philadelphia, produced two original programs for MavTv and several regional sports networks, surrounding the annual Maxwell Football Awards held in Atlantic City.
Tilley is a veteran award winning anchor/producer working mostly on the eastern seaboard. Recently, he was an anchor and reporter for Comcast SportsNets in Washington Dc, as well as Philadelphia. Prior to joining CSN Mid-Atlantic in September 2008, he was an anchor and reporter for SNY, SportsNet New York
, which is owned in part by Comcast
. He continues to co-host, along with the former Olympic ice skater, "Nancy Kerrigan's World of Skating," seen in syndication across America. He also co-hosts "Gymnastics USA" with Olympic medal winner Shannon Miller

For the last two years, Lou has been a part-time announcer for the Philadelphia Phillies radio broadcast, serving as a backup for former Phillie relief pitcher Mitch Williams, on "The Wild Pitch" on The Big Talker WPHT, where he also hosted various multi-topic talk shows. Tilley is also an associate with Aurora Imaging Company, a full service video, film and internet media concern located in Conshohoken, Pa. where he serves as host, producer and writer for original productions.
Until 2007, Tilley was the host, writer, and executive producer of "Out of Bounds" on CN8, the Comcast Network, a show available in 44 million homes nationwide. "Out of Bounds" garnered two Emmy Awards. His previous nightly talk/news program "Lou Tilley's Sports Connection (seen from Boston to Richmond along the east coast) garnered 4 Emmy awards for outstanding achievement.
Born and raised in inner city Philadelphia, PA, Tilley played football on scholarship while attending Wake Forest University
. During his senior year, Tilley tore 4 ligaments and the femoral artery in his left knee, an injury so rare and serious, he almost lost use of the leg. Superb reconstruction and rehab have enabled him to remain very athletic to this day. The injury ended his pro football aspirations and led him on the path to sports journalism. After a stint as a graduate assistant coach with Wake Forest, he moved to their broadcast booth, and eventually purchased their broadcast rights, anchoring their radio broadcasts and running all network operations including sales and distribution.
During his 8 year stint at CN8 (The Comcast Network, Channel 8), (where he was instrumental in building the sports division from its startup as major regional network serving Boston, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Washington DC), he was the lead face of most original sports programs. Prior to the nationally distributed "Out of Bounds" he was host, writer and executive producer for "Lou Tilley's Sports Connection" and the lead sports anchor for "CN8 News" from 2000 to 2006.
As the lead sports figure for Comcast's huge multi-regional network reaching more than 9 million homes, he expanded "Out of Bounds to most all of the affiliated Comcast regional sports networks. At its peak,"Out of Bounds" was seen in 27 states
While at CN8, Tilley was also the host of many of its wide portfolio of live sports events, such as NCAA College Football, NCAA College Basketball, boxing, WTA Women's Pro Tennis, Olympic qualifying figure skating with Olympian Nancy Kerrigan

and Bart Conner
, as well as Major Indoor League Soccer, and Women's WUSA pro soccer. Tilley also has written a weekly column for the Philadelphia-area Montgomery Newspapers for the last 7 years. During the time, Tilley was a frequent general news talk show host at WWDB-FM in Philadelphia.
Before joining CN8, Tilley was the award winning sports director and morning news anchor for KYW-TV
in Philadelphia. There, in the 1990s, he was the preseason play-by-play man for the Philadelphia Eagles

Lou Tilley currently resides in the western Philadelphia suburbs where he remains active in many charitable activities including The American Lung Association, The Wellness Community, The Jaws Youth Foundation, Pennies in Action, and Catholic Charities.
