in Norway since the 1980s, often together with priest Børre Knudsen
.
Nessa was excommunicated from Den norske kirke, despite an appeal at Eidsivating Court of Appeal
on 18 March 1991, and later moved to Strandebarm prosti with Knudsen and others.
Nessa has also been a staunch opponent of Islam
