Luis de Miranda
Encyclopedia
Luis de Miranda is a man of letters, alternatively novelist, philosopher, editor
, film director
. Born in Portugal
in 1971, Luis de Miranda lived in Paris
since he was a child. Soon, he toured the world. Africa
, Asia
, and then America
, after his degree at HEC
in 1994 (Commercial High Studies). During this New York
parenthesis, he wrote his first novel Joy.
In this novel stands out the importance philosophy
is going to take for the author. Luis de Miranda, after a Master in philosophy at the University of Panthéon Sorbonne Paris I, he starts a PhD in philosophy of the numeric era, which will turn into the book L'Art d'être libre au temps des automates. This philosophical essay as well as the others, starting with Ego Trip, establish his status as a philosopher while putting his novels into perspective.
His experience leads him to work as an editor in Max Milo publishing group, where he is publishing director since 2004. (http://www.maxmilo.com/)
He turns as well to film directing with short length movies. Philosophy is definitely at the heart of them as in his series based on historical characters interviews under the name of Textosterone. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYnrDQR32ak)
The author also becomes a French
, English
, Portuguese
speaking poet, putting his voice on musical pieces “poemusic”. (http://arsenaldumidi.hautetfort.com/archive/2010/10/10/over-the-dunes-poemusique.html).
Thanks to the experience Arsenal du Midi (one of the two signatures-anagrams of the author together with Animal du Désir), a writing laboratory led on the Internet
\ from 2004 to 2007, Luis de Miranda gathers his literary and philosophical project under the name of “crealism”, a movement he creates in 2007. (http://arsenaldumidi.hautetfort.com/archive/2010/02/10/crealist-manifesto.html)
, passion, will, art, desire are unceasingly redefining the conditions of the possibilities of a life free from alienation
, or even of a continuous demultiplied and more or less latent mutation of society.
Crealism, also originating from the works led by Luis de Miranda at the university of Paris I between 2003 and 2007 about Jacques Lacan
, Karl Marx
, Gilles Deleuze
and Martin Heidegger
, establishes the primacy of creativity
at the heart of the being and far from dealing only with artistic subjects, it has to do with the dynamic extension of the living territories, with an adventurous ethics
, a collective and tangible praxis
of singularity. In that sense, Creality is a quick-silver like fabric of interrelations, whereas Reality is its compost. The realist system is based on realia : they are the concrete objects (lighter, table, telephone…).
Crealism is the loving respect of differences willing to arise in the existence and its watchword is to make exist what does not. Historically, it is the birth of the collective awareness, after the post-modernist collapse, that reality is not equivalent to truth, but that the producers of reality at every time, tend to impose their coding as true and absolute.
Human emancipation
is not supported by the adaptation to existing protocols but is supported by the ordination of new orders reflecting better on our soul and desire, a process well-known by artists and which has to become more accessible. During the XXth century as a whole, the aim was to put life into art, now it is to put art into our lives, then to make the Earth our work of art. Crealism aims at vitalizing each and every social practice and at introducing game into our codes. To disobjectivize our world and to disautomate humans.
The unity of the quantum system is quantum, quanta in plural. In physics
, it designates an amount of energy liberated by interaction. The unity of the tangible system is the quale, qualia in plural. In analytical philosophy, it designates an impression of conscience. It is a subjective data, a feeling. The creative system is based on crealia. It designates the differential and generic unites, the moments when something new appears.
