, Kendall signed to play with the Perth Wildcats
for 2008-09
. In an injury hit season he averaged only 9 points per game in just 12 games played.
Kendall left Perth after just one season and signed with the Melbourne Tigers
for the 2009-10 NBL season. In doing so he missed out on winning a second NBL championship as the Wildcats won their 5th crown while the Tigers would reach the Semi-Finals.
Luke Kendall was on the move again following a single season with the Tigers when he signed again to play for the Sydney Kings
but only played one game before being released. He then signed with the Gold Coast Blaze during the 2010-11 NBL season. In another injury riddled season, Kendall played in just 7 games for the Blaze where he averaged a career low 1.9 points and 1.1 assists per game.
At the close of the 2010-11 season which saw the Blaze miss the playoffs with a 12-15 win-loss record, Luke Kendall had played 172 NBL games and is currently averaging 10.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.
