. Moreover, the services offered by Minia University Dental Hospital reach an enormous number of patients who were either abandoned or, if they can afford, obliged to travel to Cairo for quality treatment which was naturally a troublesome experience.

Beside the direct impact on the educational system represented in a diversity of technological approaches like equipped IT labs, there is also a tangible indirect impact in freeing the academic staff's precious time from the daily routine management work to the most important task, i.e. education.

The educational aspect of the project is very crucial to its success, which is not only apparent in the implementation of state-of-the-art lecturing halls by implementing technological presentation tools like video conferencing, but also in the use of technology in acquiring information required for research purposes by efficient ways like electronic encyclopedias and the internet
