The school offers students a curriculum directed towards the Higher School Certificate with a combination of traditional and Vocational Education courses, ensuring that the needs and interests of all students are well met (excludes engineering, most languages and other scriptural needs). Across all of these courses the development and application of computer and other technologies are integrated, as they are in every other school.
Macarthur's 75th birthday was last year, 2009, which the SRC (circle of 15 representatives) celebrated by renovating the rose garden (work which was finished by year 12).
