History
It is the first school in Madison County and is the only operated high school in Gurley, Alabama. It was once a k-12 school but the high school became separate in 1999 and moved a few miles outside the city limits of Gurley. The elementary (Madison County Elementary) still operates in the original location. The same buildings built in the 1930s still stand and are operation for the k-8 students.Athletics
