. Frightened off by Red King, he burrowed away again and later ran into Hayata and the Captain. The monster attacked and managed to injure Hayata by knocking him down a hill, but was killed by grenades the Science Patrol threw at it.
After being sucked through a black hole, Rei and Captain Hyuga of the ZAP SPACY crash-landed on Planet Hammer where they witnessed a battle between the monsters Gomess and Magular, to which the battle was clearly favor of Gomess as he easily beat down Magular. Once Gomess noticed and attacked the Pendragon, Rei summoned Gomora
to battle against Gomess, who was nearly no match for Gomora's strength. Magular rejoined the fray and it soon became every monster for itself. However, Gomora easily knocked them around and destroyed Magular with the Super Oscillatory Wave. Gomess on the other hand retreated to safety, returning to his master
who was beyond Rei's reach.

Magular is one of Ultraman Belial's 100 Monster Army. He was Ultraman's first kill. This also marked the first confrontation between the two as Ultraman never fought Magular in his original appearance.
