The Malta Handball Association is the governing body of handball in Malta. Founded in 1995, it is affiliated to the European Handball Federation
and is represented in European international games by the Malta National Handball Team

The MHA promotes handball on the islands and administers the competitions. Five clubs are currently registered, being Aloysians Handball Club, Kavallieri RS2 Handball Club, La Salle Handball Club, Luxol Handball Club and Phoenix Handball Club.
