As of 2000, the Community Board has a population of 107,109 up from 99,519 in 1990 and 105,642 in 1980. Of them (as of 2000), 2,189 (2.0%) are White non Hispanic, 82,750 (77.3%) are African-American, 938 (0.9%) Asian
