Manish Joshi Bismil is a young Indian theatre director trained by the HCRFTA (a leading drama institute of India supported by the National School of Drama) under guidance of Sanjay Upadhyay, Suresh Sharma, Rajeev Manchanda, Alok Chaterjee and various famous theatre personalities of India. He started his theatre career in the small city of Hisar, India under Rajesh Kapoor and Sushil Chabra. There he took part in a number of plays and until he was admitted to the HCRFTA. After his education, he decided to make his career in direction and has directed more than 30 full-length plays and nearly 1,000 street performances.

Besides his excellent theatre career he is a noted puppeteer too. He learnt puppetry from Pooran Bhaat known as master puppeteer in India. Manish has performed more than 400 puppetry shows all over India.
Nowadays he is involved in his new project named as THEATRE ON BIKES. He is only director in whole world who is starting this type of unique form of theatre.Through this project he will be touring all over India and will perform more than 1,000 shows in four months.
Recently he has performed his very famous solo theatrical piece Kahani Rangkarmi Ki at World performing arts festival held at Lahore, Pakistan and at Shanghai Performing arts festival,China. The play kahani rangkarmi ki is the world's first complete solo theatrical production where the actor himself operates lights and music along with writing, acting and directing the play.Presently he is a freelance theatre director and working with Kingdom of dreams, Gurgaon.
