. Very few intersections exist on the road and only 1 is for a provincial route or a provincial highway. PR 394 goes through the Sisipuk-Kamuchawe Range near Vandekerckhove Lake, but the road has little effect on the caribou living in the area.

Developments

On January 28, 2000, the government of Canada released info on a new winter route that would link three First Nation towns together. The project was 440 kilometres long and planned on extending Road 394 from Lynn Lake to Brochet, Lac Brochet and Tadoule Lake. The government of Manitoba produced $550,000 of $80 million for the paving of PR 394 and the nearby PR 397 in Lynn Lake. This $80 million was to help generate over 3000 jobs in Manitoba.
