Biography

Marcel Rogemont, with young socialist elected officials gathered around Edmond Herve at the time of his conquest of the town hall of Rennes in 1977. With them, it deeply marks the local political scene since the end of the year 1970. Elected official uninterrupted at the municipal council of Rennes of 1977 to 2001, he was assistant of the mayor of 1977 jusqu' with its first election like deputy in 1997. It successively was in load of the personnel, of finances then of the culture. Member of the Socialist party jusqu' at May 22, 2007, it was excluded from it following its dissenting candidature against Laurence Duffaud, official candidate of the PS. He was elected appointed on June 17, 2007, for XIIIe legislature (2007–2012), in the 3rd district d' Ille-et-Vilaine by beating, with the second round, the outgoing deputy Philippe Rouault (UMP) with 52,75% of the votes [2]. He finds the seat qu' thus; he had occupied at the time of XIe legislature.
