for the 2007-08 season. Torsiglieri was part of the Vélez squad that won the Clausura 2009, although he did not play in any of the games. He left Vélez in June 2010 to play in Portugal
for Sporting CP. The transfer was €3.4 million.
In July 2010, 50% interests on future transfer revenue received by Sporting was sold to a investment group, “Quality Football Ireland Limited", for €1.7 million.
