, and moved to Moncton as an adult, where she took a job as an office assistant to Dr. Reginald Fitzgerald, who would become her husband. The couple later moved to the French islands of Saint Pierre and Miquelon, where Dr. Fitzpatrick continued his medical practice, and resided there until his death. His widow returned to New Brunswick, where she operated a convenience store in Moncton's Humphrey neighbourhood.
