The (Celtic) Marginal Prophets

The Southern Germany-based Marginal Prophets were founded in 1991 by Harry Reed and Peter Corbett. For their first CD, A Jar of Whiskey and a Glass of Beer, they were joined by Jim Klopfenstein. In 1994, Reed and Klopfenstein recorded A Slow Return, joined by Brian McNeil, formerly of Battlefield Band.http://marginalprophets.net/index.php?query=2&lang=0

They presently perform mainly as a duo, but often expand to a trio or quartet.

) was awarded the 2004 California Music Award for Outstanding Rap Album. However, they are still an unsigned band. Keith Knight is a nationally syndicated cartoonist; the illustrator/writer/producer of two weekly comic strips, the K Chronicles and (th)ink, and the daily The Knight Life.
