title. It was Cork’s first provincial title since 1992. Landers later won a senior All-Ireland
medal as Cork defeated Kilkenny
in the championship decider for the first time in twenty-one years. Landers was dropped from the starting fifteen in 2000, however, he returned to the team in 2001. Landers left in 2002.
