in Brooklyn. After attending Pratt for only one semester, he dropped out to become a make-up artist. In 1977, he was "discovered" by the producers of the Village People at the famous Studio 54
in Manhattan. He was a member of the Village People when they made their debut on American Bandstand
in 1977. He was replaced by David Hodo
a year after joining the group. After leaving the Village People, he worked as a freelance make-up artist up until his death in 1987.
