Mark Summers started his career as a trained performer (training at the Barbara Speake Stage School) and is now one of the UK's best-known Casting Directors, casting in both North America and Europe. In 2009 Mark Summers and his team were chosen to be the UK Casting Directors on Michael Jackson's This Is It (Michael Jackson concerts)
. In 2010 Mark Summers was honoured by the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) and was awarded a 'Companionship'. For the past number of years he has been on the panel of the jury for the Best Performance by an Actor/ Actress at the British Television Advertising Awards
