Mark Weston was a fictional character on the New Zealand

. He was portrayed by Tim Foley from September 2004 to August 2007.
and Toni Thompson who are helping in a clinic there. It is not long before Mark arrives in Ferndale seeking a job. He is instantly attracted to nurse Maia Jeffries
and even after knowing she is lesbian, Mark continues to shown attraction towards her.
Mark is involved in trying to save the life of Norman Hanson (Jacob Tomuri
) when he is involved in a car crash with Tama Hudson, Eti Kawaka, Li Mei Chen and Scarlett Valentine. He and Craig are unsuccessful in trying to revive Norman and he dies at 2:15 pm, on October 28, 2005.
Over the next few years, Mark has affairs with numerous woman with the only serious relationship being with Tania Jeffries
. He cheats on her with Claire Solomon however and they break up. But after Mark promises to get help for sex addiction, he begins seeing Tania again and in 2007 they marry.
Mark and Tania agree for Mark to be the sperm donor for Maia's baby but when Maia does not fall pregnant, Tania falls back on the idea. Maia decides to use Marks sperm again and she falls pregnant. Mark tries to keep it a secret and Jay Copeland
tells Mark that he is in love with Maia and this is why he donated sperm to her. Mark is put under suspicion when several murders happen and he becomes a prime suspect in the Ferndale Stranglings
. In August 2007, Mark reveals the truth about his donation of sperm to the Jeffries family, before leaving the country. Tania later divorces him. Mark moves to Australia. He married a woman named Amy with whom he has another child.
