Early life

Raised in Kenilworth, Washington, D.C., and heavily influenced by the District’s infamous percussion-based rhythms of “Go-Go”, Marky has also become a student of hip-hop, embracing a variety of influences. Present day

Currently, Marky is working on his debut studio album with Studio 43/SRC/Universal, set for release in 2010-2011. He also is currently providing the internet with the much-buzzed-about EP, Rest Stop series, “Journey to Markyland, USA”. The 3-part EP series is a collection of original never before heard music and freestyles.
