Martin is an active community worker in Muntinlupa and Siargao teaching leadership capacity building and good governance. He is the founding chairman of Move My Muntinlupa Inc. and Sons of Surigao Youth Inc.
Martin graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Social and Political Studies & Film and Media Studies at the University of Ballarat in Australia.
He finished his Master in Entrepreneurship at the Asian Institute of Management with honors and is an Alumnus of the Center for Non-Profit Leadership in Georgetown University, Washington, DC.
Martin recently became a Senior Executive Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government in Harvard University, Cambridge, Ma.
He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Public Administration at the University of the Philippines, Diliman.

Early life
Besides broadcasting, Martin is a member of the faculty network of the Social Entrepreneurship in the Master in Entrepreneurship and Nation Building Course at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business in Rockwell.Martin is an active community worker in Muntinlupa and Siargao teaching leadership capacity building and good governance. He is the founding chairman of Move My Muntinlupa Inc. and Sons of Surigao Youth Inc.
