line. It is next to a Tesco
supermarket, and was built as a precondition for the supermarket to be built in conjunction with the then Berkshire County Council.
The ticket office is open only in the mornings. Platforms, in common with most stations on this line, accommodate eight carriage trains. Entrances are found on both platforms, although only Platform 1 (towards Waterloo
) has a ticket office with Platform 2 (towards Reading
) backing on to housing and open green space.
