Marty Snider is an American

Snider was also awarded "Pit Reporter of the Year" in 2007 by NASCAR.com's Fan Vote contest where race fans vote annually for their favorite personalities in NASCAR.
On air, Snider is known for his jovial nature and has been critically acclaimed for his interviewing skills. Currently he also serves as a NASCAR Insider for NASCAR.com
and is the public speaker for Coca-Cola's NASCAR program as well as the NASCAR program for FedEx.

"I remember hanging around from the time I was 10 to the time I was about fifteen years old. I would follow those guys around to all the races I could -- I think that's when I really fell in love with racing."
Snider earned a degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte
. While at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Snider helped to found the local Charlotte chapter of the Delta Sigma Phi
fraternity, in the largest and quickest chartering in Delta Sigma Phi's over 100 year history. The Eta Rho chapter at UNC Charlotte was also the first fraternity on campus to have over 100 active brothers. Snider served as the chapter's Founding President and was re-elected to a second term as President in his junior year. The Charlotte chapter of Delta Sigma Phi has been recognized several times as chapter of the year within the Delta Sigma Phi organization, receiving the national fraternity's highest honor. Snider is still involved with the local chapter's alumni advisory board. Snider continues to give back to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte as well where he serves on the advisory board of the university's motorsports engineering program, with several other key members from the motorsports industry.
Snider is also actively involved in his church, Lake Forest Church where he and his wife Andrea were founding members. Snider helped spearhead the church's capital campaign to raise funds to build their first building in 2004.
Snider still resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife Andrea, who is a native of Phoenix, AZ and their three children.
