His most memorable moment at TCU will almost undoubtedly be what has come to be known as "The Great White Hit". In the fourth quarter of a home game against rival Texas Tech
, White hit Red Raiders' receiver Robert Johnson so hard that his helmet came off, and Johnson was removed from the game due to injury.
